A young man was rushed to hospital after a stabbing close to a church.
Police were called to reports of a stabbing in Eastway, Hackney Wick, just before 9pm yesterday evening (September 14).
At the scene, close to St Mary of Eton Church, a man aged in his 20s was found suffering from stab injuries.
He was rushed to hospital for treatment, where his condition has been assessed as not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made but police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
