Police have released CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to after a gun was fired in an east London street.
Metropolitan Police were called to reports of gunshots in Homerton Road, Hackney, at approximately 11.40pm on July 7, 2023.
Following a search of the area they established that there were no injured people and anyone involved had left the scene.
A crime scene was established and a bullet casing was recovered.
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police's specialist crime division began an investigation.
Following extensive enquiries they are now releasing CCTV footage of a man they want to speak to.
There have been no arrests at this time.
