Pop legends S Club have visited a school in Hackney to take part in a CPR training session with pupils.
The hit 1990s group visited Clapton Girls’ Academy to kick-start the British Heart Foundation’s (BHF) Heart Month.
They joined students learning lifesaving skills, using the BHF's Classroom RevivR, a free tool to teach CPR.
Clapton Girls’ Academy introduced the tool in October and students have already used the training to help a passer by who collapsed.
S Club member Jon Lee said: "It was an amazing experience to join the pupils at Clapton Girls and see their enthusiasm in learning a lifesaving skill.
"It had a big impact on us as a group and it’s great to see a school and its pupils so committed to protecting the hearts of everyone in their community."
Emma Leenders, social science faculty lead at Clapton Girls’ Academy, added: "It was a fantastic morning and we were delighted to be joined by S Club and the BHF."
S Club have been announced as the newest BHF ambassadors, a role they have taken on in memory of their band member Paul Cattermole, who died of a heart condition in April 2023.
