An 85-year-old woman died after she was “hit by a bus” outside a supermarket.
Police were called to Morning Lane in Hackney just before 5.15pm on January 4 after the crash close to the Tesco store.
London Ambulance Service rushed the pensioner to an east London hospital for treatment.
The woman subsequently died in hospital on Monday (January 8). Her next of kin have been informed.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash and have urged anyone who may have useful information, particularly those with dashcam or video footage, to come forward.
