It comes as more than 9,000 Palestinians in Gaza were reported to have been killed in the conflict, and more than 1,000 Israelis when Hamas attacked from the enclave on October 7.
Zoë Garbett, the Green Party candidate for Hackney Mayor, posted a picture outside the Town Hall, describing one of the speeches as “powerful” and “emotive”.
She added: “Shame on everyone not calling for #ceasefirenow.”
