A man has been taken to hospital by London's air ambulance after a flat fire this morning.
The London Fire Brigade was called at 9.07am to the flat on Stoke Newington Road in Dalston today (Tuesday, May 16).
Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters attended the scene.

One man left the building before firefighters arrived and was taken to hospital by the London Air Ambulance.
Part of a two-roomed flat above a shop was damaged by the blaze.
Fire crews from Stoke Newington, Islington and Shoreditch fire stations attended the scene and the fire was under control by 10.06am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
